In the unlikely event that you should experience problems with our equipment, you must contact us directly, stating the date of purchase, serial number and the nature of the problem. The more specific you can be the sooner we may be able to identify the problem and give you the support you require. Ensure you have consulted the trouble shooting section in your user manual before calling us.

For all small equipment problems an engineer will not call on you. After contacting us if the problem can not be solved by phone / email you will be asked to return the item to us at your expense, suitably packaged to avoid further damage in transit. We will either repair or replace the item in line with the manufacturers warranty.

Please note :

Curing light glass rods, piezo scaler handpieces, and scaler / polisher tips warranty is limited to one month.

 

We reserve the right to withhold warranty on overdue accounts.

 

To extend your one years manufacturers warranty to a maximum of 5 years, an annual fee of 9% of the RSP payable in advance by standing order only. Fee payable direct to Dentoid. First payment 12 months from date of purchase.

 

Digital X ray sensors have a standard two year warranty, extendable to 3 years please refer to digital x-ray section.

 

The extended warranty covers you for manufacturers defects. The warranty is a return to supplier warranty, i.e. the customer is expected to return the unit carriage paid to Dentoid for a warranty claim. An engineer will not visit you, without charging our standard call out fee.

 

Note the following are expressly excluded from warranty claims:

Damage from incorrect set up or installation.

Damage from a faulty power supply.

Damage caused by incorrect PAT testing of units.

Damage caused by not following user instructions

Damage from misuse.

Damage from and or disassembling the unit

Damage from improper repairs or modifications not carried out by Dentoid authorised personnel
